Oh help! Teflon mat thingy has welded itself to the bottom of my new oven

Shock I've sprayed on Mr Muscle. Not working. What next?

Stupid stupid meSad I thought it would keep the bottom of the oven cleaner.

Panic over. It's sloooowly coming off with steel scrubber.

Fgs watch out and careful with your oven. Teflon liner seemed a good idea to me but obv it wasn'tHmm

that's odd, surely it is very heatproof. Have you got a continental-type oven with the heating element under the floor?

Or is there a chance it stuck to the layer of greasy filth traces of grime?

I've seen these liners in Lakeland Limited- they have a warning not to use on an oven that has a heating element on the floor of the oven.
Though I don't know how I could tell without putting my hand on a (potentially) very hot oven surface Shock
