Orange baby poo on my beige carpet - suggestions please?

DD2 10m has nappy rash so I let her have some bare bottom time last night.

The sneaky little sod not only managed to have a poo without me noticing but played, stood and slipped over in it too.

She had a jar of baby food yesterday so the stain is bright bloody orange!

I've tried 1001 carpet cleaner twice now but its not shifting it. I'm scared to scrub too hard, it's a new carpet.

Does anyone have any ideas or am I going to have to buy a rug? Grin

Try mixing a little biological washing powder with some water to make a paste, rub in in gently and then rinse very, very well - repeat if necessary. DH once dropped an entire plate of spag bol on our cream carpet and it eventually came out - took a lot of patience though!

There is a great product called simple soloution stain and odour remover - it is designed for pet stains and we buy it from pets at home. It works wonders on our beige carpet when the cat has been sick just after eating its food.
