moses baskets

bought one today, second-hand, for £4. bargain

have used it to store blankets and throws in the guest room, and it's a really nice alternative to the normal wicker baskets (and much cheaper!). Imagine they'd also be good for toy storage (handles are useful), slide under the bed/sit on the wardrobe when not in use.

Just thought I'd share in case anyone wants an alternative storage idea!

Oh! Why didn't I think of that? I was just about to send mine off to the charity shop as I got no takers on ebay - but you are totally right. That would fit lovely under the cot with blankets in. Genius!

Thanks for sharing! Can't believe I've never thought of that - they'd make good laundry baskets

ooh yes mistress, didn't think about laundry!

Also, could be used for shoes at the door if in need of a shoe rack/basket. Could cut a bit of oilcloth to go in the bottom to stop mud seeping out everywhere. Or lay the oilcloth over the whole of the inside to look pretty.

You are, in fact, a genius!

I'm having to clear out storage room tomorrow and a couple of Moses baskets are coming home that I've been dreading trying to find a place to store them!

Thanks
