Help with shopping for shoe storage

I'm rubbish at shopping for furniture, always have been, I just dont know where to look for it.

I need something to put shoes in in our entrance. Nothing massive, the space isnt huge. idealy I would like it to be low so dc could sit on it when they put their shoes on.

I've seen som thing ideal in someones elses house but they cant remember where they got it from. Its a low white bench made out of wood. the seat is on hinges and when you open it its hollow. it can ft roughly 5 or 6 pair of shoes in, which is all I need to get them out of my hall!

Please can anyone help?

I've got something that sounds similar that I got from Ikea? Can't remember what it's called though, will have a look.

Can't find it on Ikea website, maybe EBay? Sounds identical though, white bench, low enough for kids to sit on, lift up lid for shoe storage.

Not quite what you're looking for but The Great Little Trading Company have a bench with a padded seat and three rattan baskets for shoes. Might do.

limesandwich I love that one, but dont love the price. I'll keep thining (and try to strech the budget alittle! )

Google 'storage bench' thee are loads like that gltc but not as expensive
