Oh no :( some silly people about.

To be honest your best bet is going to be a jet/pressure washer with specialist driveway detergent that you can buy from DIY store.

If you don't have one, see if a friend/colleague/neighbour can lend you one. Otherwise you should be able to rent one for a few hours from DIY/Tool Plant place. I wouldn't expect to pay more than £20 for rental.

Or to buy a decent one £150, but once you have bought it, then you have it permanently for driveway in future along with car etc.

Be careful though, jet washers can be poweful and may damage the finish on the brick work, the best people with are the people who installed it or the place who supplied the bricks.

Someone may have a better suggestion, but this is all I can think of.

Oh, Vicar Sad

Have you tried biological washing powder? MAke into a paste, and apply and leave for a bit. Then give it a scrub and rinse off. Might work, as the enzymes might act on the egg protein?

thanks hazel - i will give that a try. im sure that as the drive weathers the marks will fade but its so bloody annoying - just spent such a lot of money and its marked and looks bloody awful!

Biological washing powder a very good suggestion.

Personally I would be inclined to wait and see if the next rain storm clears it.
