spring cleaning

I want to spring clean this year! what things should I do? I normally run the hoover round and mop the kithen floor, but I want to properly do a deep spring clean this year (with the help of DH dodging between work and baby's naps!)

But what does doing run really entail... (sorry if this is a stupid question...)

Go over skirting boards with baby wipes, do mirrors and windows, take curtains down for a wash, take off any bed skirts and wash, empty cupboards and clean them inside, throw out out of date tinned food, clean washing machine drawer and window and rubber seal, fill dishwasher salt and rinse aid, sweep porch and jeyes or similar if needed for de-weeding tiles...that's what I try to do each month as a deep clean (minus curtains and jeyes which only happens once a year!)

Curtains down for a wash. Do they have to be dry cleaned?? I've got roman blinds as well...
