Freaking out,my dog stepped in another dogs poo!!

Just been for a walk and one of my dogs stepped in a massive pile of dog crap. Ive washed his paws but I feel like my house is dirty now. Ive a 7 month old who will be crawling soon enough and im freaking out because what if theyve stepped in it before now and i havnt noticed?? Is my house now covered in dog crap? My dog is now asleep on my FABRIC sofa,knew we should have got leather.Im actually going to cry!!!!!!

Your house probably has tiny specks of poo all over it. Everybody's house does. That's just life for ya. All you can do is try to not think about it and clean as well as you can without becoming miserable and obsessive.

dogs are inherently rather disgusting, I'm afraid - remember that he washes his paws and then his nether regions, or maybe the other way round... If you keep a dog in the house, then I wouldn't worry too much about this.

your child is tougher than that.

It could be worse.
SIL's dog has a poo eating habit, he will leave a ball/stick in favour of a steaming turd, she is horribly embarrassed.

The same thing happened to me today! Well, not my dog - my child stepped in dog poo, I don't have a dog. I only realised after she had walked through the living room and I was taking her shoes off Angry. She's two and I had carried her most of the way home too. I didn't seem to have any on me but my coat has gone in the washing machine, just in case! It's supposed to be dry clean only .

Still freaking out!!!!! I just feel soooo dirty!!! I feel like my whole house needs steam cleaning...with the dogs in it!!!

katy are you serious? Poo?? All over myhouse? Noooooooo,dont tell me that! Omg mega freaky now!!

My mind is working overtime now.x
