Welly boot storage

I'm sick of tripping over DH's welly boots in our utility room, and really want to sort that room out. How/where do you store yours neatly?

We put up shelves in the utility.

I like the look of the welly boot racks that you can buy (Cotswold company IIRC) But you can make them from wooden broom handles. And the Wellies slot on upside down. Might ask DH to make me one.

Next have a similar thing in metal too.

We have a large wicker basket for all dirty shoes - wellies, walking boots, football boots etc. It's not as tidy as those racks but it does store a lot. It lives in a little nook in the back of our hall so not too noticeable.
