Aldi washing powder

I have just started to use Aldi Almat bio washing powder today after seeing lots of glowing reviews here on mumsnet. However I found huge clumps of powder left in the dispenser drawer after each wash. I used less and less powder with each wash, I've just finished my last wash today and there is still a huge clump of wet semi set powder in the drawer. What am I doing wrong.

That's why I've switched back to more expensive liquid as I had the same problem!

Lafaminute · 21/02/2013 15:57

I just put it straight into the drum on top of the clothes and have never had any problems. And no manky drawer to clean out either.

Same here. I put it straight in the drum too, worth it because it does clean very well.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/02/2013 07:17

I put it in the drum too. Wink

changeforthebetter · 22/02/2013 07:30

I thought it was just me! don't want to use liquid because a reprimand told me they gunge up the machine. will try in the drum.
