Am having a bit of an problem, not sure if anyone can help. For the last 6-9 months, I keep being bitten by something although I have no idea what! I have lived in two houses during that period and am the only one who is getting bitten

House 1; shared with a family and one other girl, a dog and a cat - neither of which had fleas. Bedroom and house kept clean, cat and dog never allowed in my room etc. No sign of midges/gnats/fleas etc. Was the only one in the house getting bitten consistently, would often have about 6/7 itchy bites on me at a time - legs/arms etc. Cat and dog were de-fleaed just in case but never found anything.

House 2; now the house I live in, share with DH. Deep-cleaned professionally just before we moved in. Again, kept clean and no kids or pets, no sign of bugs/insects etc. Woke up this morning with two bites on my leg, one on my arm and one on my hand - not the first time either, DH not been bitten at all since we moved in.

I'm sure I've been bitten when staying at my parents too, again clean house and no children or pets (obviously know children don't carry bugs - am just trying to give you an idea of the house!). In all cases, I keep being bitten and no-one else problems at all.

If anyone has any ideas that would be great - the consistent itching is starting to get on my nerves!

Don't panic but it sounds like bedbugs. Not everyone shows a reaction when bitten so that would make sense. Check your bed for telltale marks on sheets or headboard or bed frame. Small dark spots give it away. And you may think you're bring bitten elsewhere as bites can theoretically take over a week to appear.
If that's what you've got get a specialist in to sort it out in one go rather than drag it on and spread the problem. I can recommend someone but prefer if you pm if interested rather than appear to be advertising as I've mentioned someone I've used before Grin
Anyway, good luck and really don't worry.
Hope that helps.

eeesh, really?! In both houses? I kind if ruled out bed bugs mostly because my bites are not in clusters like what I've seen of BB bites, they are more single bites but widespread. Maybe two close together at most.

Will investigate though, will be gutted if they're in our mattress as it only just got bought for us! Thanks for the advice
