Just seen TWO of the little blighters as I was working at the kitchen table, a dark flash out the corner of my eye by the fridge and then a little nose poking out from under the cooker. Yuck Yuck Yuck. I am tough about most things but mice make me want to stand on a chair and scream like in Tom & Jerry.

Not seen them before & I had a big clear up 3 days ago and saw no signs. God maybe they've been here for ages & I've only just realised.

And I am on my own in the house (well, not any longer) while family are away for half term. Traps, humane or sticky, or borrow a cat?

Neither humane nor sticky traps are humane!! Use a traditional snap trap, or alternatively borrow a cat, terrier or ferret...

Agreed, use a spring trap. I bait mine with peanut butter.

Yeah buy some snap traps & get em! They work really well.
