Use some in the washing machine with clothes makes them smell nice

Purplehonesty · 16/02/2013 17:41

I use it in meringues....!

NorbertDentressangle · 16/02/2013 17:49

Clean your windows and mirrors with it.

notforthefainthearted · 16/02/2013 18:49

Descale your kettle.

newtonupontheheath · 16/02/2013 19:32

Dishwasher instead of rinse aid

Half vinegar, Half water in a spray bottle for cleaning... Anything!

mommabee · 16/02/2013 19:36

Clean windows & mirrors or use the whole bottle in the washing machine on the hottest setting to clean the washing machine Smile

Use it to remove sweat smells/stains - pour wee bit directly onto sweat marks and wash as normal

SaigonSaigon · 16/02/2013 19:40

A drop in your pan water for boiling eggs. Stops shell cracking.

bonzo77 · 16/02/2013 19:43

Soak tartar off dentures and other dental appliances.

pud1 · 16/02/2013 19:47

Thanks. Will defiantly be doing Windows and mirrors. I am in aside water area so kettle is fine.

How much to use on washing. Will it not make my clothes smell of vinegar

I use about half a cup in with towels and heavy cottons. They go soft but don't smell and towels don't go plasticky and waterproof like with fabric conditioner.

YY to using vinegar in the washing machine.
Diluted with water for washing floors.
Diluted with water in spray bottle for cleaning surfaces.
Conditioning your hair (just rinse really well).
I usually add essential oil to counter the vinegar smell.

I buy vinegar in the large jugs and use it instead of chemicals all the time. Smile

All of the above and pour a little in a cup to keep fruit flies away( in the summer). Pour bicarbonate of soda and vinegar down clogged drains, flush with boiling water.

wonkylegs · 16/02/2013 21:30

With bicarb of soda in teapot/mugs banishes all tea stains

MerryCouthyMows · 16/02/2013 22:26

De scale your kettle. Clean mirrors. Clean windows. First three things off the top of my head.

To those in-the-know, can I also use white wine vinegar to clean?

superfluouscurves · 17/02/2013 17:33

Yes you can! Especially good for tiles, glass, porcelain and stainless steel surfaces

ThenWeTakeBerlin · 22/02/2013 14:07

Thanks, superfluous Smile
