We are renting and about to move out. A few weeks backs, DH knocked over a vase on the windowsill and it wet the very horrible old cream and green curtains. I didn't think much of it, just spread them out to dry.
They hang in big folds so I didn't notice until just last week but where they got wet there is now a brownish stain, almost like you would get if you left the iron on something for too long.
I just know our LLs will gouge for this out of the deposit. And not wrongly, I guess - they are ruined.
...Or are they?? Is there anything I can do? Any help appreciated!
