Clear nail varnish on new black jeans?

It's left an awful looking white-ish stain.
Can anyone advise??

I'd try it on an unseen part of the jeans first to make sure it doesn't discolour the jeans.

That's what worried about though.
I thought the nail varnish might replace a small white stain with an even larger one?

Hairspray! Removes ink so it's worth a try. Just spray and scrub and then wash

sounds mad but my mum swears by insect repellent for getting out nail varnish. she runs a b&b and has got red nv off white sheets with it. apply quite a bit to the stain,leave to soak in and then wash!! good luck!!

Nail varnish remover might burn a hole in the fabric. It did with me- ruined a skirt.
