Dry clean items

Hi

I have bought these really nice trousers in a sale but are dry clean. Find buying trousers very difficult so I bought them (Fen wright and manson) so good make. My gut instinct is that I can hand wash and drip dry. They have about 43% wool content. The are quite fitted and they are straight legged but don't want them to shrink.

also does anyone use the tumble dry method to dry clean. I tried to find some in the shops (Dr beckham) but nothing on the shelves. Did see some in lakeland but expensive.

I think the tumble dry dry clean method is OK for freshening things up, and you can find the stuff in Waitrose. But I would probably hand wash really carefully.

DH's suit trousers go in the washer on delicate with persil silk and wool.

Then they get hung up in the kitchen to dry, most likely they don't even get ironed.

nothing seems any cleaner if you send it to the cleaners, so except for structured jackets, I don't bother.
