red pencil on (new) white wall paper

any ideas as to how to get rid of it? not sure an eraser would work on colouring pencils and would smudge the surrounding paper. not tried anything yet as dont want to further ruin the paper .
any ideas please?

I was able to shift wax crayon off wall paper with that weird Flash eraser thing.
