How do I be rid of baked on grease?

DH makes the best Yorkshire puddings, but they have the unfortunate side effect of leaving baked on grease all over my silicone muffin tray. Any ideas? It's too flexible to scrub, so I'm at a loss

Get rid of, obviously

I'd say - soak it in hot water and either: soda crystals, or biological washing powder - both are great at getting rid of grease. And wash after, so you're not ingesting the cleaning product.

NB - this works really well on metal stuff, but no idea what it would actually do to silicon. I'd probably try the washing powder first.

I just accept that my pretty pink silicon muffin tins are discoloured now. I was them with hot water and fairy and then put them away and try not to think about them.

Bio powder is a good idea to try. There is no such thing in America, so I'm still not entirely sure what the point of it is, and I'm always hearing about ways to use it for general cleaning. I buy the super-duper cheap stuff at Asda and I may try it on some things.
