grubby paul smith stripe leather purse

I have just been given this by my sister, but without seeming ungrateful its seen much better days.please does anybody know how i could clean this without ruining , its just generally grubby....

Was it a Christmas present? could she see about changing it if she kept the receipt?

If it is grungy don't use anything harsh on it. Years' ago a friend suggested a well known pink baby lotion for removing marks on a white leather bag, to my horror it worked very well.

have you tried baby wipes?

How about a neutral shoe polish/cream? I've used leather wipes on a sofa, but that's a tougher grade of leather, is there an inside edge you can test?
