Bastarding fucking arse cocking hoover

Stupid thing has a blockage in a place I can't fucking get to to unblock, and if that wasn't bad enough the height adjusting thing keeps slipping so that I can't lock it at full height, meaning I have to hoover on my knees or bent double.

There is sawdust EVERYWHERE in the house as it keeps getting tracked around and I've just got fed up with it now. I can't hoover it up properly when the suction is half arsed because of a blockage I can't get to.

Any suggestions? It's not even worth buying a new one because we're emigrating in the summer and the plugs won't be the same.

Buy a cheap hoover? Borrow one from someone?

Have you tried a bent coathanger or something to get to the blockage? If you can't get to it, I think borrowing or buying something cheap may be your only option.

You can also consider selling the thing before you move.

Where exaclty is the blockage? As KAty said, is a wire hanger feasible? If its in the pipe, a decent screwdriver dropped in then shaken through can sometimes dislodge it

It's in a bend in the pipe (i think) where the head fits on to it. I thought I'd got it with a bent knife but then it seemed to come back again.

wire coathanger, unbent.

twist the end back on itself so it won't puncture the hose.
