not a big or expensive rug but it's grubby. i usually hoover it daily and then spray vanish mousse stuff, mop it in let it dry and then hoover up. i thought it looked ok but then i was in the shop i bought it from and saw the still new ones and they look sparkly clean compared to mine. i bought the vanish powder stuff after seeing the ad, USELESS! didn't even lift it a shade!
so what works, without me having to fork out oodles and oodles of money? and dont talk to me about borrowing a carpet shampooer because i have owned 2 in my life and with both the floor ends up completely saturated and the carpet looks no better.
