I've got a lovely duck egg blue cashmere and silk scarf which is looking a bit grubby these days :(

I can't read the washing instructions properly (Japanese!) so how would you wash it? I can't afford dry cleaning. Thanks!

dont use your normal detergent as you would need one suitable for silk/wool e.g. woolite

I have one called alur that was from home bargains

I came on to say Alur too.

Just a normal hand wash should suffice, no wringing and dry flat.
