Red dye on cream sofa!!

Can anyone help? My DH was laying on the cream (tweedy material) sofa in his new red top and its left a patch of pink dye!! How do we get rid of it?!

I really hope someone knows about this

Aren't you supposed to put hairspray on it and then rub off?? Or toothpaste? Please don't try these just on my say so though!! I hope someone else comes along soon for you!
