Help! Dog hairs in the washing machine!!

I washed the dog's bedding today and now the drum is full of hair (euuuurrggh- wet dog hair). What's the best way to get it clean and sweet smelling again?

A hot cycle with an empty drum does it for mine. If it is particularly grim, I add powder.

Hot wash, soda crystals and white vinegar.

It worked!!
