How do I use a steam cleaner?!?

I have one for Christmas which I've opened early so everywhere can sparkle for Christmas!

I'm going round to clean my sister's bathroom tonight/ tomorrow depending on how quickly I get my wrapping done.

How do I use the steam cleaner to get 'proper' grime off? Her bathroom has orange stuff growing on the tiles and the bit round the bath is black.

She has little boys and the carpet in there stinks of urine. Will steaming get this smell out too?

The orange on the tiles on the wall probably means they need descaling. The black is mould and you need mould remover for that (like really strong bleach in a spray bottle).

The carpet really needs removing or a proper carpet cleaner using on it.

The steamer will only get general dirt off but will do that really well on a tile floor or wood or ceramic surface.
