quick tips on sprucing up a chandelier (sp?)

without taking it down... i've hoovered all the cobwebs away but it still looks a bit dusty.

I've seen professionals do it when I worked at a well-known Lodon hotel.

they put big dustsheets underneath and sponged all the crystals with soft-soap and water, polishing off with soft cloths. I don't know where you buy soft soap these days.

But they are often made so you can unhang the drops and clean them in the sink, which I would have expected to be easier.

Spray it with dust removing air spray, you can buy it in computer shops, staples, possibly tesco....
