How long to defrost turkey?

We have a 3.9kg one how long do you think it would take in a fridge?

It should defrost within 24 hours, but I would worry. Since it's going to be in the fridge anyway I would personally allow 48 hours to be on the safe side.

www.nhs.uk/livewell/healthychristmas/pages/cooking-turkey.aspx - says to allow 10-12hrs per kg for defrosting in the fridge so you would need to allow at least a day and half for yours to defrost.
