Why did nobody tell me about kitchen roll before?

I was reading the cleaning thread in Chat and several people suggested using kitchen roll to clean with.

I only really use it for mopping up water or drying the cat litter tray Hmm

I have been cleaning with it all morning and it's great Grin You just spray the surface, then wipe down with the roll, so it cleans and dries at the same time. I usually use antibac wipes or a damp J Cloth which means that you have to dry surfaces afterwards, but with kitchen roll, it does everything!

It's quick, cheap, disposable and means you're not getting your hands wet all the time Smile

It's a big fat waste of money and horribly un-green.

It goes into the recycle bag because it's paper Smile

I use microfibre cloths, cheaper and better for the environment Wink

or use an old vest

Recycling is great, but it's better not to create the waste in the first place. Smile

God, I panic when I run out of kitchen roll. I use it for everything!

I use it for wiping out greasy pans before washing them and mopping up yucky spills. anything that would be a pain to get out of a cloth basically.
