Eyelet curtains - what diameter pole?

Please could you advise on the diameter of the pole I should use for eyelet curtains. (Sanderson Dandelion in JLP). They do 19mm 25mm 28mm poles. I dont want them to look like "a pea on a drum" but dont want to drag them either. Also, can I assume with eyelets that you dont need them to be so full?
Many thanks

Bumping as I'm wondering the same thing too.

We've got 25mm poles. 28mm would probably also be ok, but I think 19mm would be too thin.

Also, yes, with eyelet curtains the idea is that they are only a little wider than the window so there is little spare fabric when the curtains are closed.

It depends on the diameter of the eyelet. I would assume 28mm would be fine.

Eyelet curtains can be 1.5 times fullness, or you can still go with double fullness, but that might be a bit "much" IMO. It is down to personal preference.

Thanks ladies. Curtains are now back in stock, so just going to hit the button and hope they are not in the sale!
