Curtains to go with dark brown leather sofa

Hi,

We are desperate need of curtains for our living room. The walls & carpet are a dark cream & the sofas are dark brown leather. I want to brighten the place up a bit, make it look homely. Any ideas what colour we should go for curtains and a good place to buy at reasonable prices for decent quality.

We were also planning to replace our wooden blinds with nets Blush but if anyone has any other ideas for a window that lets in light but isn't open for all & sundry to look in at the mess I would be most grateful for suggestions!

Luxaflex make these brilliant blinds that pull up rather than down- leave in light but give privacy.anither (specialist) company) makes pull up roller style blinds. Can't remember the name of the company

Brown and teal, or duck egg blue look nice together.

I have dark brown leather sofas with curtains made from this fabric in Hollyhock.

I have a cream carpet (DH hates wooden floors, bah) and light warm grey walls. I love them.

I have mirrored/one way window film instead of nets and it's much brighter and basically invisible on the inside.

I have deep red velvet curtains. Lovely and warming and homely.

We have brown leather sofa and cream walls with one feature wall.
