Websites for stylish stuff?

I went to a friend's house tonight and realised what a bore I have become with regards to the stuff I buy to go in my home - it's all Next or Homebase. While there's nothing wrong with that I used to make a real effort to make my home look stylish and individual.

So... Can you recommend some websites for me to have a look at to buy home stuff? I like vintage meets modern/original stuff and want to buy cushions and throws and bedside table lamps, and candle holders... That sort of thing. My budget isn't huge so original antiques etc are probably a no for example. TIA

How about check if there are any vintage fairs omming to your area.I have throws etc ,cushions etc combined with photos and good finds from vintage fairs such as a 1950 s vase which tones with my room but is one off. This cost about a fiver. Also id just to trust your judegement if you are attracted to something. Also e bay - fab.You can get retro plate s which are really fab eg look at ridgeway homemaker on e bay its a design classic..combine with ikea white ones - fab.enjoy!!

Cox and Cox have lovely home accessories - just noticed they have been mentioned already. Bodie and Fou do too, kind of unique, trendy + with nostalgic appeal. Pure Living Collection has gorgeous bed linen range with some lovely bed throws and cushions. Not on the High Street is also worth a look, for unique bits and bobs for the home.
