Where do you dry flat jumpers and tops and stuff that says that? I can just about manage 2 jumpers on an airing thing but I usually wash about 4 at a time and I wander about the house looking for something flat to lay them on.

I put them on a clean towel in front of the bathroom radiator.

On the floor Dew, or on something else flat?

i lay a clothes dryer on top of the bath, lay towels over it and put them on that till they are slightly damp and then hang up as per normal

valiumredhead · 21/11/2012 17:47

i had a mesh drier that used to lie across the bath that you dried jumpers on.

DewDr0p · 22/11/2012 12:03

Yes just on the floor. Seems to work fine!

I'd prefer a rack but hey ho...

I have an airer that can be used to flat dry clothes its huge. Folds nice and flat and sits at the side of my fridge frezzer when not in use.

HollaAtMeBaby · 23/11/2012 03:15

On a towel on the floor somewhere they won't get stepped on. Or on the sofa. or on my (made) bed if it's something that will dry in a day (I usually put washing on first thing and get it out before I leave for work).

I lay the clothing flat on an old large towel, then roll it up and leave it in the airing cupboard

BoffinMum · 23/11/2012 07:16

I put them on a towel on the Sheila Maid airer, not completely flat but placed over the four slats.

GoldenGreen · 23/11/2012 08:26

I never pay attention to this. My clothes seem to survive.

sparkle12mar08 · 23/11/2012 14:00

I don't. I hang them on a hanger and dry them vertically. Never, ever, had a problem.

vodkaanddietirnbru · 23/11/2012 16:45

I never dry things flat either
