Does anyone know if I can steam clean engineered oiled oak flooring please?

Just been laid, kitchen fitted, and may actually be able to start living in my house now....so need to know best way of keeping it clean....

The floor has been laid...not me

I think you can, my steamer says not to be used on untreated wood, I guess the oil means it is treated. I would call the steam cleaner manufacturer to check.
