colour run disaster after washing (laundry specialists please!)

I washed my favourite wool scarf by hand. All colours started running and I don't know what possessed me, but I soaked it for an hour in Ariel bio powder.... The scarf is a woven wooly material. Base colour is black with flowers/ beautiful pattern in lighter colours on it (hot pink, dove blue, khaki etc).

After the wash all colours have run into each other... or more precise the black has overpowered and dulled all colours... everything has a strong grey/black tint, there is not much contrast left...

The scarf is ruined... please advise me if this is salvageable!

I have a sachet of Dylon's SOS Colour Run here but am not bold enough to use it. Am I best off going to the Dry cleaners?

Please help!

Why not try Dry cleaners first - for advice and maybe a quote.
If not - then try that - ot can't make it any worse - is it either that or the bin or is it still wearable?
Have you dried it - it'll look paler then, but even then, you'll know :-(
Very sorry for you x

its a bit crap the colours ran so easily tbh. what would have happened if it rained?

Colour run remover, dont use bio if it is real wool or silk.

Bio is only for protein stains such as blook, urine, sick, grass stains, egg etc.

Homebargains do colour run remover.
