Does it ruin clothes?

Tell me about it, if it broke down would you replace it?

Had one for ages 2000rpm got stuff really really dry so the tumbledryer worked less but they're noisy.

Didn't ruin anything but when it died I didn't replace it, although to be fair we'd replaced the washer in the interim for one that worked properly.
