Food safety after power cut?

Badvoc · 08/11/2012 14:10

We had a power cut last night - from about 10pm to after midnight 1am ish.
Didn't think this morning and gave ds1 his usual milk and ds2 some fromage frais.
Pleas tell me I haven't poisoned my dc :(
(They seem fine at the moment btw)

depending on the model, freezers and fridges usually stay cold for 18-24 hours as long as you don't open the door. I will guess that during the power cut the kitchen got quite chilly which will help.
