Where to buy a good-value mattress?

We need to get a new mattress for our son's bed for when he moves out of the cot.

Does anyone have any tips on where to buy a not-too-expensive mattress from?

John Lewis. I bought one for ds's single bed for £50 last year. It's not brilliant quality but he's never complained, he sleeps like a log on it

Argos.
I always buy letter E on the page Grin I.e. not A and B which will be made out of paper, and not G or H which will be covered in rhinestones or something.

Thanks for the tips, will check them all out. Would have thought JL would be mega pricey, but it seems not!

Thanks again Smile.

www.johnlewis.com/317058/Product.aspx This is the one I got for DS. It's gone up to £65 but gets 5 stars.
