Anyone used a flea bomb?

If so, how much residue is left to clean afterwards?

There was no visible residue with the one I used. You aren't meant to use them in kitchens though so it must leave something behind!

Have to say, though, I didn't find it as effective as spray.

For £15 you can get some spray from the vet that's nontoxic and kills the eggs as well as the fleas.

I've used flea bombs with little to no effect.
My vet told DH that the stuff you can buy over the counter is pretty useless because fleas have evolved to be resistant to chemicals traditionally used to kill them.

thanks. we are being fumigated tomorrow and i think they will be using them. we have to unplug the smoke alarm!
