And it's come out like a limp lettuce. It's still drying now, will it ever be the same again??? It's down filled and the feathery stuff seems to be in soggy little lumps inside the panels...

I think you need to tumble dry it with a tennis ball, or something. I'm sure someone more domestically gifted will know exactly what to do.

I've had this, spent ages shaking it out to redistribute the filling once dry. Worked a treat.

mine is a Lands End down parka and it def says tumble dry with three tennis balls and worked a treat. Maybe try the shake it madly theory and, if no luck, then rinse it again and tumble dry with balls (iyswim!). NB, do NOT tumble dry at night as balls make a noise like the end of the world in the still of the night...
