Never owned one, need one! Will leave in large garage in centreish for good ventilation.

Can I have recommendations please, under 300 quid, what should I look out for (reverse action? Good energy rating, a b or c?)

Ta everso.

I bought one a few weeks ago (life changing!) Did a fair bit of research on which and other places and in the end opted for a Beko - not a brand I normally consider, but for price and efficiency I couldn't beat it. I can't remember the model now, but I paid about 220 after a but of shopping around. Very pleased with it, even if it does play The Entertainer when it's finished Grin

We have the Beko one too. £240 - massive drum, b rated, sensor dryer. It's brilliant.

But yes, it does play a tune when it's done - and keeps doing until you open the door. Grin

I have a White Knight one, from Laskys.com

Cost me less than £200, massive drum which takes 7kg. I love it. I've never had one before!

Fanks! Any idea what model, is there a name on the front, there are a few?

Loving the music, I had a friend who had a foreign one and in the instructions said 'when cycle has finished you will hear a mooing sound'! Lost in translation, I think. It never did moo, much to our disappointment.....

Looked it up - mines a DCU7230. The other ones looked good too, but I stuck with the one that Which? had rated [bought too many cheap appliances]

Flisspaps · 27/10/2012 11:01

Mine is a White Knight 77AW.

moogdroog · 27/10/2012 15:30

Ignore my last post. Found the order it's an 8230, not 72.

Can you get hold of a recent Which report? Library? We just bought a great Bosch one on their recommendation.

topsi · 27/10/2012 17:22

we have a Mile which is good

hermioneweasley · 27/10/2012 17:27

I have a Beko which can take a 9kg load. Only got it this year but no problems so far.
