My board collapsed on me today so need a new one. Don't have loads of money but want something that is sturdy and will last as I do loads of ironing. Does anyone have a recommendation please?

A Brabantia will last you a lifetime.

wow, quick response thank you! My Mum has a Brabantia and thinks it's great so will look at those.

I just bought a new sleeveboard and held out for a Brabantia! They are the best - and you can replace the covers very easily.

I need a new iron... any ideas?

I have a Russell Hobbs steam glide. It's nice and heavy so good for 'pressing'. Also it holds lots of water so not much refilling.

I have a Brabantia one too. Had it 9 years and it's like new. I replaced the cover and pad for the first time a few weeks ago.

Yep Brabantia are good I replaced my 17 year old minky board with one about a year ago very pleased with it.

I have a cheap one (I think homebase??) and have recently put a new cover on it (John Lewis union Jack) which is naff but cheerful and was about £10.
