OK very old fashioned here but I have gone back to brillo pads to keeps my pans really clean but forgot how rusty and manky they get after just one use!

Any tips or should I really be using a fresh one each time?

Pop them into a glass jar with a little water in it and a squirt of washing up liquid. Put the lid on and it keeps the brillo pads perfectly.

for ordinary pans, do you really prefer them to a green nylon scourer?

how are your fingertips?

MissPerception · 15/10/2012 11:12

Can't beat them PJ. I wear rubber gloves if I'm using them.

Oh I'm hardcore, no rubber gloves for me!! Yes they are great, after years of nylon scrubbers and repetivie strain from scrubbing I've gone back to the old ways and yes they are very much more superior :) Nails are holding out OK, thanks for the tip Missperfection :)
