So are they better than a dyson

I'm falling out with my dyson - it's 8 years old and is truly crap on my carpets these days

Was looking at Henry's and they seem to get excellent reviews

So would you recommend it? If not, what would you recommend as the best Hoover

Thanks

I cannot express how much I hate our Henry.

It's heavy, cumbersome and awkward.

It gets stuck around corners, I regularly kick it and it works no better than any other vacuum cleaner.

I think it hates me back.

I both Love and hate my henry equally

on the plus side, he sucks brilliantly ;) (which is of course the main point of a hoover)

BUT he is Very Stupid. he is heavy and cumbersome, and goes where HE wants to go. He seems lazy, as if he can't be arsed to move. And god forbid I attempt to go round a corner. He is like a naughty toddler that "puts the brakes" on when you try and get him to move.

Sorry to be a lone voice, but I actually hate henrys. I think it is the difference between an upright and a pull along cleaner. I find pull alongs very hard work. I feels as if I have to do all the work 'scrubbing ' at the carpet. I get back ache from bending over all the time, because they are too short and I have never found that they suck up as much as an upright beacue the end is so far from the motor.
