I'm looking for Super King Size duvets covers which are fastened by poppers and NOT buttons..

Does anyone have any ideas?

Tried M&S, John Lewis, Dunelm, Debenhams?

Now this is one of those great mysteries of Life I reckon.

Why don't they make them with zips????

i hate the button ones too Princess they ALWAYS end up breaking after a while & even the poppers warp after a bit with hot washes.

popper fastenings was pretty standard at one time.. Now they are very rare indeed.. I really wish it would list the fastening on product descriptions too as I have to keep emailing customer service to ask.. Either that or order duvet and return each time!!! Argh... Someone help me..

I've just found this site...

Zipped up duvet covers!! Yay..
Very good value but they don't have much variety of colours..

I have one - a Fenn Wright Manson which came from TK Maxx. They often have them in, not unreasonably priced, wash well and comfortable. I have another which does up with ties at the bottom I think bought online at duvet and pillow warehouse.

Muji used to do poppers and zips.

In my experience buttons are longer lasting than poppers, which warp. buttons can be replaced easily if necessary, though i've never had to do this.

John Lewis's polycotton ones have poppers. They're fine, and bargainous too Smile.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm wondering whether any current readers know of where to get duvet covers with poppers. I'm after them too.

pusspusslet · 26/09/2013 19:43

I looked at the John Lewis polycotton ones online, BTW, and they must have made a change as they're no longer poppers.

I'm sure our new duvet cover from ikea has poppers.

Wilkinsons have some polycotton duvet covers with poppers, I got some there at the end of the summer.

EntWife · 26/09/2013 20:42

Cath Kidston bedding has poppers...I prefer buttons so was disappointed when it arrived with poppers!

sportyme · 29/09/2013 08:31

I got a duvet cover from here about a year ago. It had poppers.

picnicbasketcase · 29/09/2013 08:34

I much prefer ones with buttons, they don't come open all by themselves like poppers do.

knittedslippersx3 · 29/09/2013 08:36

Next have some with poppers.

Many thanks: will try the places you've all suggested :)
