is it time for a new Miele washing machine?

we have had our Miele washing machine for about 14 years. Probably gets used 5 times a week, on average.

Has just sprung a small leak. Is it likely to be worth getting repaired, or has technology improved so much that we should get a new one?

Two questions... do you know the energy efficiency rating for your machine?

And do you have a nice washing machine repair man (like mine, bless him) who doesn't do call out charges but gives you a free estimate before starting work?

Have just googled and think it is A rated for energy efficiency.

Sadly have no nice repair man, and Miele engineer callout charge starts at £90.
