I bought a silk top and wore it on the weekend and it now has a stain on the front. It must be alcohol I think. I took a chance and instead of dry cleaning put it on a delicates wash - the top survived but so did the stain!
I guess I've set the stain now but I've only worn it once so desperate to save it! Please help if you know anything about this.
