Linen Water / ironing water - what do you use?

I used to have a lovely recipe for linen water that I would spray onto the clothes as I ironing. But lost it.

Dpo you buy one?
Make your own ( if so how and what smell?)
ANd do you spray it from a spray bottle or put it into your iron?

I just put a capful of fabric conditioner into a spray bottle full of water.

I buy the comfort vaporesse and pour it into the iron. Hate ironing without it now

I bought some distilled water with lavender-granny scent, but I love it! I have a professional steam system thing I bought second hand, so I just bung the water in the base, it is great!

I was just wondering about making one with essential oils but I don't know if it would work I shall have a Google...

Straight rainwater is all I use with a few drops of clove oil per gallon of water.
