Can you recommend your washing basket, I would like two sections in it for lights/darks?

New baby on the way so one of my jobs to sort. Mine is wicker and gone all nasty. No liner in it and it has mildew. Also just one big basket so I have to toss it all out to sort each time and would like to be a bit more organised with it. Not too too big if possible. Thanks!

I have this one from M&S. It has a liner I can carry downstairs in one hand with the baby in the other! It doesn't have sections though... The ones with sections are £59 so not sure if that's a bit £££?

I'm really pleased with mine. It looks really smart and like yours my old one was so heavy to carry downstairs.

I have this one in DD's room and again I can carry it with one hand with her in the other arm.

i have a John Lewis wicker water hyacinth 2 section one which is lovely. i find it easier to do the washing having 2 sections

JarethTheGoblinKing · 21/09/2012 17:41

Alemci - Yy, that's the one we have. Can't find it on the site any more though

MrsDeterminedandSpecialMum · 21/09/2012 17:45

I have the same as Smalltown & Advisemewisely.

I've got 3 of these large bins from ikea in a row on te upstairs landing, one for darks, one for whites and one for coloured.

In a fit of organisedness I even cut out black, white and coloured sticky back plastic to stick on the lids so their is no excuse ...

alemci · 21/09/2012 18:21

i think it was a special buy in the clearance so maybe it isn't made anymore. its very good. i don't take the liners out though.

looks nice on my landing. i used to have a wheelie canvas Ikea one and it always looked messy with the lid never on.

very pleased.

I've got the same one as small town from Argos and I love it. It's so light and fits loads in it. Can easily be carried down to the machine and can also be washed itself in the machine.

We have had it about 5 years now if not longer and still looks new.
