shower head for rubbish water pressure!

Hi, the shower in our new house is a bit rubbish, rented so we can't change it. Can anyone recommend a shower head that will make the most of our poor water pressure? I guess something with minimal resistance, the opposite of an eco one! One that has a setting for concentrated flow would be ideal - its taking me ages to wash my hair and I really don't have the time ...

Shower head wont make any difference to water pressure. You can buy a pump attachment to the water feed that will help but will need someone with plumbing knowledge to fit.

Good luck, its a PITA having a trickle of water when you have a head ffull of shampoo!

Thanks. Yeah, i know a shower head won't increase water flow, I just want one with minimal resistance that won't make it worse, iyswim - which is what the existing one does, and 'eco' type ones on the market do...

oh oh oh OH! get to LIDL RIGHT NOW. i bought a shower head from innovations catalogue for forty odd quid ten years ago... it broke, and i was in mourning.

last week, saw the same thing in lidl for £7.99. it's a miracle. it kind of catches the water in a wee reservoir in the head before pumping it out at you, so it feels great. and £7.99, blardy hell... dh says we should buy another one for emergencies.

but you must go soon, i don't think it was a current offer, just a few shower heads left when i was there.

mind you, this is billed as an eco one... but what it does is maximise pressure for minimal water. we have good pressure so ours is mega. Grin

found it i just used our riser, obv, didn't bother with their fitting.

thanks! sounds like just the thing - a non-eco eco showerhead! Will see if our lidl has it :)
