That's it really.
What setting 30/40 or what? This is for quite recent lining.

Getting ambitious here............ can I wash big old interlined curtains?

When I make Drapes for the home,I am careful to Pre-shrink Both pieces of
Material...the Lining first,Then the Main Fabric. Then, and only then, do I Cut
my chosen Pattern out,after All is dry.If this is a Custom-made drapery,the
Original designer should have put his fabric pieces together as I did-which would
Mean that you can use "Woolite", cold water and a Very Gentle setting.Tumble
dry on NO heat. However,if Storebought,I would use a Great big Plastic Tub,the
Woolite(Very lite-warm water), same for the Rinse-and Dry on 2. Lines running
Parallel to each other.Jill.

Thank you Japple. I went ahead and washed the lining then the main fabric as we've had such good drying days. I've still got the interlining to freshen up. Basically,I've deconstructed the curtains into the three main fabrics.

The fabric is by Prestigious and nothing has run (phew). No idea if from a shop or what.

I'm hoping to resew everything for smaller windows as they were 113" drop X 3 1/2 widths. I had to section the main fabric before washing as my machine might have objected.
