Hello - a number of Sylvanian families have moved into our house following my DD's birthday and brought their caravan, car, school house along with them. Any ideas of how to store ?
We have ikea trofast but i don't really want to just chuck it all in a big tub as not sure it will all get played with then
thanks

I kept mine all in big tubs and t'was fine.

You can't just play with one family/house y'know? You HAVE to have every single piece that you own out at the same time Wink

I bought the little snap tubs (15cm long approx). I cut out the pictures from the packaging and stick them on so that dd and I would know exactly what goes in each tub and we could carefully check all the bits were there each time they were put away after being played with. It was a triumph of organisation.
Roll on eighteen months...we have two baskets of an Expedit unit from ikea with it all chucked in randomly and all the families have swapped clothes, houses, vehicles and accessories with each other. I believe we are all happier that way Wink

We have ours in the Trofast. Large tubs along the bottom for car, house furniture etc. 6 small drawers above which when sorted properly have people, animals, small house bits, emergency services bit, random bits and playmobil people.

Ours Sylvanian family live in a blended family with playmobil! It is one of the most played with things in our house.

Position sofa so that the Sylvanian village can live behind it permanently. Move and vacuum out dead spiders once a fortnight. It works for me.

We have this problem too. I get those plastic tubs with lids and blue handles that come in all sizes from teeny tiny to really large. Available in Ryman, Hobbycraft etc.
